The International Association of Research Scholars & Administrators (IARSA) has announced a new research partnership programmw with Lagos State Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC).

“Solving complex grand challenge problems requires research organisations like ours to actively seek out collaborators and talent to pursue field leading research,” said Akin Ogunsakin, PhD, IARSA President one of the organizers of the partnership. “That work leads to the development of innovative solutions and trained workforce with hands-on experience on cutting-edge interdisciplinary technologies, for Lagos and our dear country, Nigeria.

To achieve these purposes, PSSDC and IARSA will encourage their member organizations, insofar as the means of each allow to:

⦁ Promote PSSDC and IARSA exchanges by inviting faculty and research personnel of the partner to participate in a variety of research activities and professional development;

⦁ Encourage members and research personnel of PSSDC and IARSA to attend lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences in the respective areas of interest;

⦁ Encourage carry out joint research and continuing education programs;

⦁ Exchange information pertaining to developments in education and research activities; membership development and research at PSSDC and IARSA.

⦁ Seek mutual advice and support in planning and executing programs promoting excellence in respective areas of research and education;

⦁ Encourage the regular /visiting faculty members and scientists of either PSSDC and IARSA members to visit the other organization for giving talks in lectures and programs;

Lagos State Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) is a Lagos State Government-funded multi-disciplinary institution. First of its kind in West Africa. Established 29 years ago through the State Government Edict No. 9 of 1994 to train, re-train and develop staff of the Public Service as well as serve as consultants to Government and the external public on Human Resource Development.
