Overview

An integral part of the work of the Academy of Innovative Research, Science & Technological Development (AcIRSTD) is cooperation with international academies, institutions, research institutes and associations as well as individual participants involved in the entire process of technology transfer, which supports the successful transfer of research results into practice.

The Academy of Innovative Research, Science & Technological Development (AcIRSTD works very hard with the objective of providing effective answers to the needs of the individuals, institutions, organizations, and countries and to fulfil that purpose, one of the best tools the Academy uses is Technology Transfer. The main objective is to provide relevant scientific contributions to society and the production sector. By doing so, this Academy aims to help enhance the quality of life of all people.

An overview of the technology transfer process at the Academy of Innovative Research, Science & Technological Development (AcIRSTD), from research and discovery, through protection, to licensing and revenue distribution. The Academy provides a broad spectrum of services specifically aimed at preserving valuable intellectual property and disseminating it for public benefit using the most appropriate means available.

Transfer technology is responsible for handling and entering various types of contractual arrangements in order to properly and efficiently transfer intellectual property to commercial enterprises, as well as to universities and other nonprofit institutions.
The activities of AcIRSTD include but not limited to:

With the objective of supporting innovations and value generation, AcIRSTD is in charge of the following activities:

• Monitoring and analysis of technologic and scientific supply and its demand.
• Administration of legal framework for transfer processes.

These activities are generated by public and private sector agreements for technical assistance, research and development, confidentiality and technologic transfer. Furthermore, from research programmes and fellowship programmes in enterprises, AcIRSTD also provides consultancy services for institution and patent management.

Technology developed at AcIRSTD includes solutions for areas as human health, pharmaceutical and biotech, food industry, animal and plant production and health, nanoscience, nanomaterials, materials science and industrial technologies, clean energy, biofuels, industrial equipment, communications and software.
