Promote the mobilization of the scientific community to act together with the constituted powers, aiming towards a national scientific and technological advance and the encouragement of innovation.

Strive to foster scientific culture and innovation and advance the knowledge of the sciences, technology, innovation and indigenous knowledge.

Production of publications used as a database document for research works, projects and innovation activities held on the international education field.

Mobilize the most accomplished Nigeria Scientists at home and in the diaspora to provide collective intellectual leadership for the betterment of Nigeria

To recognize scientists for their exemplary science and technology achievements, and to identify and support emerging scientific talent.

Identify and stimulate young people with great potential for science, promoting the annual election of young researchers of notable talent, who come from all the regions of the country, to become Affiliated Members of the Academy for a limited period of time.
