The Academy of Innovative Research, Science & Technological Development (AcIRSTD) acts as critical intermediaries between scientific research and technological implementation, facilitating collaboration through “Science Bridges,” joint research projects, and policy advice. The Academy focuses on building capacity in developing science, technology, and innovation (STI), and strengthening the science-policy-industry interface.

The Academy offers Nigerian researchers at universities, research centres, and government ministries, and agencies valuable opportunities to engage in collaborative research with counterparts in international partner institutions. AcIRSTD also offers outstanding students with opportunities for postgraduate studies in various universities with joint supervision.
