Editorial Policies
For individual submissions, the Editors make an initial appraisal of each manuscript. If the topic and treatment seem potentially appropriate for the journal, the manuscript is assigned to a managing editor, or to a member of the editorial board, who organizes and oversees the review process. Once the review process has been completed, the managing editor recommends acceptance, revision, or rejection of your manuscript. The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief.

The International Journal of Scientific Research, Innovation and technological development (IJSRITD) strives to ensure that peer review is fair, unbiased and timely. Decisions to approve or reject a manuscript for publication are based on the importance, originality and consistency of the manuscript, and the validity of the research and its relation to the journal's responsibilities. In order to classify potential reviewers, we use a wide variety of sources, including the editorial board, personal information, feedback from the author, and bibliographic databases. In our decision as to whether to approve a manuscript for publication, reviewers' reviews play a major role.

IJSRITD takes matters of violation of copyright, plagiarism or other publishing violations of professional standards very seriously. We strive to protect our authors' rights and we often examine allegations of plagiarism or abuse of articles written. Equally, we are seeking to defend the journal's integrity from malpractice. With duplication-checking software, submitted papers can be reviewed. Where an article is found to have plagiarised other work or contained copyright material from third parties without permission or with inadequate acknowledgment, or where the authorship of the article is questioned, we reserve the right to take action, including but not limited to: publishing an erratum or corrigendum (correction); withdrawing the article; taking up the matter with the head of department or dean of the authors’ institution and/or relevant academic bodies or societies; or taking appropriate legal action. Using Cross Check/iThenticate plagiarism identification methods, documents submitted to the International Journal of Scientific Research, Innovation and Technological Development (IJSRITD) will be screened for plagiarism. Besides that, Copyscape scans for plagiarism. Without analysing the paper that contributes to plagiarism or self-plagiarism, IJSRITD would automatically reject documents. Complaints received from readers will be addressed promptly in an organised manner by the IJSRITD management team. In accordance with the guidance issued by COPE and OASPA, all complaints and reported scientific misconduct shall be handled.

The version of an article which is published online is considered the final and complete version. Even though it is possible to correct this version, our policy (in common with other publishers) is not to do so, except in very limited circumstances. We can only fix typographical errors in the following words: names of authors, affiliations, titles of articles, abstracts and keywords. In such instances, an erratum or a corrigendum will also be required (see below) so that the discrepancy between online and print versions can be clarified in a record. If there is a serious mistake, such as with regard to scientific accuracy, or if your credibility or that of the journal is affected, we can publish a correction to your paper. We do not publish corrections that do not materially impact the contribution or substantially damage the comprehension of the contribution by the reader (such as a spelling mistake or a grammatical error). If you need to make any changes, please send an email to [email protected]
Read more →Appeals, Complaints & Misconduct Policy
Appeals, complaints, or allegations of misconduct will be taken with utmost seriousness, regardless of whether those involved are internal or external to the journal, or whether the submission in question is pre- or post-publication. If an allegation is made to the journal, it must also be passed on to the publisher, who will follow guidelines from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) on how to address the nature of the problem.
